Montreal's 5,000 blue-collar workers are launching what they call a general unlimited strike next Thursday, but the city says citizens won't even notice it.
This latest action comes following a month of rotating job action.
The union says it will not do any overtime after March 18, and their members will no longer replace foremen.
The Essential Services Council is to hear from both sides before deciding which city services will have to be provided during the strike.
