A judge has denied bail to two Montreal teens facing terrorism-related charges.
El Mahdi Jamali and Sabrine Djermane have been detained since their arrests in mid-April.
Quebec Court Judge Robert Sansfacon ruled today the pair must remain behind bars until the end of the legal proceedings against them.
They each face four charges: attempting to leave Canada to commit a terror act abroad; possession of an explosive substance; facilitating a terrorist act; and committing an act under the direction or for the profit of a terrorist organization.
Their bail hearing was held over four days earlier this month and there is a publication ban on the evidence.
