A warehouse in Kahnawake was the site of an early morning fire on Sunday.
At 12:30 a.m. fireifghters were contacted about a fire in a building behind the MMA Fight Shop on Highway 138 after heavy smoke was seen by neighbours.
Neighbouring fire departments were called in to assist in extinguishing the fire.
A portion of the highway was temporarily closed and damage was restricted to the warehouse.
An official with the Kahnawake Fire Brigade said it’s believed the fire could have been suspicious.
