The death toll from Tuesday's attack at the Ataturk International Airport in Istanbul is 41, with dozens more wounded.

At least three people arrived at the airport and began firing at people inside before blowing themselves up.

The airport re-opened Wednesday morning.

Meanwhile Turkish airline fights remained on schedule Tuesday evening, leaving many people nervous.

However many passengers flying to Istanbul said that would not deter them from travelling.

Many decided that the plans had already been made and that they were going through with those plans to leave.

"I'm nervous for sure, especially because I have two children," said Amir Sharif who was heading to Istanbul.

He was not, however, so scared as to not fly.

"I'm worried about them, but not too much," said Sharif.

Those feelings were shared by Fatma Yilmaz.

"I mean, they've taken precautions and, you know, security's kind of been improved, so I feel safe about going. So I'm not worried.

That trust in security was not the case for every would-be passenger.

CTV News found one man who decided to cancel his flight at the last moment.

"I think it's not safe at the airport. It's not safe, and I think they have to cancel it, but they told me it's okay and the flight is on time, but I cancelled," said Maisam Koosha.

One of the passengers told CTV News he felt more secure flying to Istanbul following the terrorist attacks.

He said with the security precautions now in place it's a much safer place.
