The Sureté du Quebec is investigating the suspicious death of an infant.
On Sunday a mother arrived at a hospital with a deceased baby.
Hospital staff contacted police, and the major crimes unit of the provincial police force began an investigation.
SQ officers have since searched the mother's residence in Deux Montagnes, and talked to witnesses.
