Ready or not, winter is coming -- Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for much of southern Quebec warning of a “significant snowfall” for this coming week.
The snow would begin Tuesday afternoon and several areas could see 15 centimetres or more, the warning on their website reads.
The snow may also change to rain or freezing rain.
A system developing over the eastern American seaboard would be to blame for this dumping, if it does come to fruition.
The weather agency is asking the public to keep an eye out for other warnings.
