The Montreal headquarters for the Ministry of Education have once again been vandalized with red paint.
An overnight police patrol spotted the front doors of the building covered in red paint. Officers said it happened sometime between 9:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:20 a.m. Monday.
The building is also home to the headquarters of the permanent anti-corruption squad UPAC.
The attack comes as Quebec begins a two-day summit to discuss higher education.
Meanwhile two other prominent politicians had their offices vandalized.
Leo Bureau-Blouin, who this time last year was leading students in protests and is now a Parti Quebecois MNA, had red paint splattered on the front doors and windows of his Laval office.
People who showed up to work Monday morning at the Montreal offices of the Minister for Montreal and for Angolphones, Jean-Francois Lisée, found the windows had been smashed and red paint splashed around the premises.
The Ministry of Education has been the target of multiple protests over the past two years, and last year, on April 2, was also covered in red paint.
Police never found who had vandalized the building that time.
