The Quebec Solidaire caucus is meeting on Sunday to discuss its strategy for the upcoming parliamentary session and increasing the minimum wage to $15 an hour will be among its priorities.
QS MNA Manon Massé said she is pleased that Premier Philippe Couillard has indicated he is open to debate on the subject, adding that she also wants a parliamentary committee to convene on the topic.
Among the other issues that will be discussed are environmental policies, the Energy East pipeline and natural resource exploration in Anticosti.
