A 24-year-old man has frozen to death in Val d'Or.
Quebec's bureau of independent investigations issued a statement Sunday night saying it was looking into the death.
Someone called police on Saturday night to report the inebriated man, but police never found him.
He was located early Sunday morning by a resident.
The man was taken to hospital suffering from hypothermia and died during the day.
