Construction crews are taking advantage of the long weekend to work on the Iles aux Tourtes bridge.
From 10 p.m. Friday June 24 until 5 a.m. Monday June 27, only two lanes will be open in each direction.
A barrier will be in place on the westbound portion of the bridge with a counterflow lane for use by eastbound drivers.
Only the left-hand lane of the eastbound bridge will be open in order to reduce vibrations.
Crews began working on the bridge last August, and in December discovered a large crack on the right hand side of the eastbound lanes.
Transport Quebec says it will take until October to finish fixing the bridge.
Until work is done, a mobile photo radar station is going to be in place near the bridge.
