Montreal police are investigating after five small fires were set in Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve on Monday night.
The fires were set in recycling bins and were quickly extinguished by the fire department. Police dispatched extra patrol cars to monitor the area but no arrests were made.
No property other than the recycling bins was damaged.
