Bobby Burling scored in the 73rd minute as the Colorado Rapids pulled out a 2-2 draw with the Montreal Impact after trailing twice in the game on Saturday before 20,801 at Saputo Stadium.

Didier Drogba and Maxim Tissot scored for Montreal (4-3-2), which ended a disappointing run of three games in eight days with two draws and a defeat.

Shkelzen Gashi had the other goal for Colorado (5-2-2), which was on a three-game winning streak.

The Impact dominated the early going and got the first goal on Drogba's free kick after Ignacio Piatti was pulled down by Burling just outside the Colorado penalty area. Drogba looped a shot just inside the left post from 25 yards for his second of the season.

That set two-time Olympic moguls skiing gold medallist Alex Bilodeau to ringing the Impact's goal bell in the east grandstand.

The Rapids' best first half chance came when Gashi's free kick was headed from close range in the 30th, forcing Evan Bush to make the save.
