A broken water main disrupted service on the Green line early Wednesday morning.
The water main at City Councillors and De Maisonneuve broke overnight, and shortly after 6 a.m. officials were forced to stop service between Lionel Groulx and Frontenac.
About half an hour later the STM was able to get trains running between Berri-UQAM and Frontenac, but service between Lionel Groulx and Berri-UQAM was still not operating.
The STM diverted buses to run between the two stations, and commuters were quick to board buses instead of heading underground.
Service resumed on the green line at 7:30 a.m.
