The National Film Board will be getting a brand new building downtown, as Montreal city hall formally greenlighted the construction Thursday morning.
The building will be designed by the Provencher-Roy architecture firm. It will be located across from the Place des Festivales and should be completed in 2017.
The NFB will relocate to the premises from its longtime headquarters on Cote de Liesse.
