Joannie Rochette will skate her tribute program to her mom one more time.

The bronze medallist from Ile-Dupas, Que., whose mother Therese died of a heart attack during the Vancouver Olympics, will skate to Celine Dion's "Vole" in a special guest appearance March 19 on "Thin Ice," a live reality figure skating competition.

Rochette won bronze in Vancouver less than a week after her mom's death and then skated to Dion -- her mom's favourite singer -- for the exhibition gala at the Games.

Dion called Rochette during the Olympics to pass along her condolences.

Rochette's performance at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods, CT., will air March 19 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

Future

Skate Canada officials say the 24-year-old still intends to compete at the world figure skating championships March 23-28.

The "Thin Ice" competitive lineup includes Canadians Jamie Sale and David Pelletier who were 2002 Olympic champions, 2003 world ice dance champion Shae-Lynn Bourne of Canada, and two-time world champion Elena Berezhnaya of Russia.

The hosts of "Thin Ice" are Canada's four-time world champion Kurt Browning, and Elisabeth Hasselbeck, host of "The View."

Judges include ex-figure skaters Katarina Witt, Kristi Yamaguchi, and Dick Button.
