Montreal's arson squad is investigating an early morning fire at a garage in the West Island.
Around 5:30 a.m. an arsonist hurled a Molotov cocktail into the office section of AutoPneu on St. John's Blvd. near Devon St., in Dollard Des Ormeaux.
40 firefighters rushed to the garage and were able to control the fire within the hour, extinguishing the flames at 7:30 a.m.
With the fire out emergency crews discovered what was left of the firebomb.
SPVM spokesperson Francois Collard couldn't say whether police were looking for one or several suspects, and said it was too early to know whether surveillance footage from neighbouring businesses captured any shots of the suspects.
