Visitors to Trudeau Airport will now find themselves walking down hallways of information, as many walls have been souped up with a new series of floor-to-ceiling interactive displays.

The giant-size monitors transmit information about flight schedules, wait times for security screening checkpoints, walking time to the gates as well as of a variety of maps and other travel information.

The walls also carry advertising, of course.

The media walls can be found in the public area and international jetty, while similar displays will be installed in a variety of locations within the terminal as well, according to a press release issued Thursday by airport brass.

A series of new stores and restaurants have also recently opened at the airport, including Tristan, Cirque du Soleil, Découvrir Montréal, The Source and Relay shops as well as such eateries as the Archibald microbrew pub, the Café Vasco da Gama bar terrasse, the Vino Volo wine and tapas bar as well as Les Délices de l'Érable, Jugo Juice and Sushi Shop.

The Trudeau Airport now has over 90 stores and restaurants.
