Monday afternoon's thunderstorm in the Montreal area caused some flash flooding.
The Hickmore St. underpass at Cote de Liesse rapidly filled with water and was closed off, but not before three vehicles were stuck in the water.
Firefighters were able to drain the water by opening up a manhole.
There were similar problems on De Salaberry between Gouin and Bois-de-Boulogne where some vehicles were caught in the torrent.
The fast-moving storm also brought down trees as it crossed the southern portion of the province, cutting off electricity to thousands of people.
