Service throughout the Montreal metro system was paralyzed for some 45 minutes Sunday morning.
The network was shut down at about 8 a.m. due to a computer glitch, the STM reported on its Twitter account.
STM spokesperson Isabelle Tremblay confirmed that the problem was connected to the computer system, but did not identify its exact source.
This is the second time in less than a month that the metro system was completely paralyzed.
The last complete failure was on Nov. 17, said Tremblay.
A computer glitch shut down the metro for 45 minutes Sunday morning.
