Homicide investigators are probing a suspicious death near the Lachine Canal after the body of a man in his fifties was found near St. Patrick St. Sunday at about 2:45 p.m.
Passersby spotted the man's inanimate body in a yard behind a company near the corner of Hamilton and St. Patrick in Ville Emard.
Police handed the file to the homicide squad and and the body was sent to the coroner's office where an autopsy will be performed in hopes of learning more about the circumstances surrounding the man's death.
