A new piece of public art was unveiled Monday on Mount Royal, near the Peel street entrance to the mountain.
The work "give peace a chance" commemorates the famous song written by John Lennon during his 1969 "bed-in" with Yoko Ono in Montreal.
180 slabs of limestone lying side-by-side on a flat surface are etched with the phrase "give peace a chance" in 40 languages.
The new walkway was built at a cost of $125,000.
It's part of the city's renovations and remodeling of Mount Royal.
