Longtime WCAX news anchor Marselis Parsons has died at the age of 70.
Parsons was a director, reporter and news anchor for the Burlington news program for 43 years and was a familiar sight for Montreal viewers until his retirement in 2009.
Parsons, who was also an avid sailor and volunteer firefighter, died of cancer Wednesday morning.
