The body of Giordano Castronovo has been found in Riviere des Prairies.
Laval police have confirmed the body was discovered near the site of the crash Wednesday afternoon.

A post on the Facebook page “Help Us find Giordano” also stated that his body had been found:

The 23-year-old man went missing over the weekend after a speedboat he was aboard collided with a ferry.
Eight others went overboard, but only sustained injuries.
Castronovo had been missing ever since.
Surete du Quebec divers, Laval police, firefighters and friends and family of the missing man had been searching the murky waters for him. Though police officially gave up the search Tuesday night, volunteers continued to hunt for him Wednesday.
