A 17-year-old girl has died after she fell to the ground while car surfing.
Gabrielle Dionne was one of six young women riding inside and on top of a car last week in Drummondville.
According to witnesses the car was going about 20 kilometres an hour when Gabrielle fell and hit her head.
She spent several days in a coma before being taken off life support on Friday.
The 18-year-old driver of the car, Jessyca Gauthier, was initally charged with dangerous driving and hit and run.
However according to the SQ, the crown prosecutor has yet to decide if Gauthier will now be charged with dangerous driving causing death.
Gauthier's next court appearance is scheduled for August 14th.
In July, 38-year-old Kevin Ducharme died from his injuries a week after he fell off the roof of an SUV while car surfing in D.D.O.
Tommy Palliser has been charged with hit and run and dangerous driving.
