Longueuil police think they have solved a string of armed robberies, but suspect there are more victims who have yet to come forward.

Jean-Sebastien Beauchemin and William Lemay, of Longueuil and St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, were charged in court last week with committing five armed robberies at bank machines.

Police say that on five occasions between December 14 and January 3, the pair threatened victims with a firearm and forced people to withdraw money from an ATM.

Beauchemin is also charged with five counts of stealing jewels and jewelry from stores.

Longueuil police think the pair may have robbed other people, and are asking possible victims to contact officers by calling 450-463-7211.
