Place des Arts and the Montreal Symphony Orchestra have announced the construction of a new concert hall.
It will cost $259 million and it's part of a public private partnership.
The concert hall will be built by a team that includes Montreal construction giant SNC-Lavalin.
It will be located on the corner of de Maisonneuve and St. Urbain.
The government says the hall will be finished by the summer of 2011.
