Guy Turcotte, the former cardiologist serving a life sentence for murdering his two children, was reportedly assaulted in prison this week.
According to a report in La Presse, the 43-year-old was beaten by fellow inmates on Wednesday at Port-Cartier penitentiary, a maximum security facility to which he was recently transferred and which is also home to Luka Magnotta.
Turcotte suffered minor injuries but was admitted to the infirmary. He refused to file a complaint against his attackers with police.
