Noah and Rae Bernamoff, owners of the Mile End Deli in New York City (featured in this week's Sunday Bite), have come out with a new book called The Mile End Cookbook: Redefining Jewish Comfort Food from Hash to Hamantaschen.
The couple consider the delicatessan to be a tribute to Noah's late grandmother, who kept many recipes used at the restaurant, click on video above to hear him tell the story in an interview with Mutsumi Takahashi.
