A teen girl was hit by a truck in St. Laurent Friday morning and transported to hospital in critical condition.
Police said the collision happened at 7 a.m. at the intersection of Muir Street and Cote Vertu Boulevard.
The 14-year-old girl was crossing the road to meet friends across Muir St.
She suffered from serious head injuries and was unconscious when emergency services arrived. Police said she is expected to survive.
The truck driver was treated for shock at the scene.
The collision squad was at the scene to determine what happened.
