A man who police considered a suspect in the abduction and murder of Cedrika Provencher has been cleared by a polygraph test.
The Sureté du Quebec said the man recently agreed to take the so-called lie detector test, and as a result police no longer consider him a suspect.
Last month the SQ resumed searching a section of woods where Cedrika's skull was found, which they said was the result of a new tip they had received.
Cedrika was nine years old when she was abducted from a street near her home on July 31, 2007.
Hunters found her skull in December in a wooded area about 15 km from Trois Rivieres.
