MONTREAL- A team of curlers has been dominating the Quebec circut.

The four young men who make up Team Asselin are provincial champions, routinely holding their own against players twice their age.

Sami Guimond-Jaber, Lewis South, Marc Alexandre Dion and Skip Felix Asselin are all 16 and 17-years-old.

The group joined forces four years ago and have been winning ever since.

"As a team it's kinda of a blessing that we actually came together and it's worked out great so far," said Lewis.

In 2010 they only lost two games. They say hard work is the secret to their success.

"Every player on this team knows their role on this team and their good at what their position is," said Coach Benoit Forget.

Sami is lead and the team's clown.

Lewis is second and the knock-out artist, but doesn't quite believe that Sami is the best sweeper.

"Obviously I bring my ridiculous sweeping technique. I consider myself the best sweeper on the team," he boasted good-naturedly.

They're now on their way to Toronto for their first International Bonspiel, which takes place April 4 through 8, but before that they've got another Provincial competition in Dolbeau on March 9.

Marc Alexandre is dedicated to nutrition, while Felix is the most serious.

"As the skip you have to be more serious than the two buffoons who sweep all those rocks," said Lewis, also challenging for contender of team clown.

For his part, Felix says he loves the pressure.

"I think that I can make the big shots when we really need it," said Felix
