A prison fight broke out Saturday afternoon that reportedly involved the former head of the Quebec chapter of the Hells Angels, Maurice "Mom" Boucher.
Numerous media reports say that Boucher was stabbed during the incident, but police won't confirm whether or not he was involved.
The Surete du Quebec is confirming that they responded to an incident at the minimum-security Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines federal penitentiary just after 3 p.m. Saturday afternoon. The SQ says four people were involved in the fight. Two of them were stabbed and left with fairly minor injuries.
Boucher was convicted in 2002 of ordering the murders of two Quebec prison guards and is currently serving three life sentences.
He was stabbed in prison the same year with a makeshift knife but survived the attack. His attacker was killed by other inmates who came to Boucher's defence.
