Police are on the hunt for one or more suspects after a shooting in the borough of Saint-Laurent Saturday afternoon.
Montreal police spokesperson Simon Delorme said a 20-year-old man was shot in a parking lot on Crevier St. south of Deguire St. at 2:20 p.m. Delorme added, however, that the man was likely not shot with a firearm, but with some other projectile.
The man was taken to hospital and is in stable condition.
Police said a suspect or suspects may be in a nearby apartment based on information from witnesses, though Delorme expressed that he was unsure as to the reliability of the information.
