Police have arrested a suspect connection with Wednesday’s stabbing in the Plateau.
20-year-old Wassim Filali has been charged with second degree murder and assault causing bodily harm.
The altercation occurred at the corner of Prince Arthur St. around 3:15 a.m., but then moved to the corner of Pine Ave. and Clark St.
A 26-year-old man died of his injuries shortly after he was brought to hospital. Two others were injured in the brawl; one was hospitalized for a leg injury and the other sustained relatively minor injuries and did not have to be hospitalized.
