The man arrested for allegedly exposing himself to a teenaged girl in NDG has been sentenced to six months less a day for breach of conditions.
Michael Iovannone, 29, was violating court-ordered restrictions stemming from a prior charge when he entered Royal Vale School earlier this month.
Iovannone was picked up two weeks later by police after being allegedly caught on the school’s security cameras.
He is due to return to court on March 20 to face charges of sexual contact and breaking and entering based on the Jan. 17 incident.
The man was able to get into Royal Vale School, and allegedly committed an "indecent act" in front of a 13-year-old female student, according to a letter sent home to parents.
The girl was not hurt, but the incident has led the school to review its security measures.
Ioavannone was allegedly able to walk into the school after a student opened the door and let him in.
Since the man entered the building, administrators visited classrooms to remind students of safety measures, including to never open the doors to non-students and non-staff, and to report any unusual activity.
Iovannone was previously arrested in June 2012 after allegedly exposing himself to several teenage girls in NDG.
At that time he was accused by three teenagers, who said Iovannone flashed them when he left a building near Saint Luc School.
