MONTREAL -- The Montreal Impact will be without top scorer Ignacio Piatti for a game Sunday against New York City as he serves a one game suspension.

Piatti was suspended for a foul commited in the first half of a 1-1 draw Wednesday against the Timbers in Portland.

The Argentine designated player leads the Impact with 11 goals this season.

The club lost its top defender Laurent Ciman for an indefinite period after the Belgian sprained an ankle in Portland.

However, striker Didier Drogba appears ready to return after missing three games with a thigh injury.
