A Concordia university executive has received $235,000 in severance pay after working at the school for three months.
Sonia Trudel was hired last August as Chief Financial Officer and was hailed by the school for her experience as an accountant in major positions elsewhere.
She was brought in to help the university deal with its $8 million deficit this year.
A mere 90 days later, Trudel left in what is being called an amicable parting of ways.
Concordia is declining to give more details, citing confidentiality reasons.
