With work on the Guy St. Exit from the Ville Marie Expressway complete, Transport Quebec is now ready to close the Atwater Exit.
The Ministry will close the exit on July 11 at 10:30 p.m., and it will remain closed until November.
Over the past month crews repainted lines on the elevated highway, and they will continue to do so until major work begins later this year.
Transport Quebec has yet to announce the date, but at some point this autumn the Ville Marie eastbound will be reduced to two lanes between the Turcot Interchange and the Guy St. exit.
That work will go on for an undetermined amount of time, possibly years, while the Turcot Interchange and the Ville Marie are rebuilt.
