London has the Eye, Paris has the Roue – and soon Old Montreal will get La Grande Roue.
A Ferris wheel on Ile-Bonsecours in the Old Port, the privately-funded project is set to open in June.
The Roue will feature 42 air-controlled cabins that will reach 60 metres high, all year long, no matter the weather.
The Roue will offer a 360-degree view from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., with a bar and bistro at its foot.
