Two people were badly hurt in a single vehicle car crash overnight in Chateauguay's industrial park.
Chateauguay police were on patrol when officers spotted the badly damaged car sitting in a ditch on Industrial Blvd. around 3:30 a.m. and they're not yet certain when the crash occurred.
Emergency crews found the driver, a man in his twenties, who had been thrown from the vehicle.
First responders used hydraulic jaws to pry open the car and free a trapped passenger, a woman in her twenties.
Both occupants were taken to hospital where they are being treated for serious injuries.
Police believe the driver lost control of the car and that it rolled several times before ending up in the ditch.
