Getting around town this weekend will require careful thought and planning to avoid lengthy delays and detours.
Heading north via the 15 was awkward, because part of the Turcot interchange was closed most of the weekend. However Transports Quebec reopened the interchange at 2 p.m. on Sunday, making the drive much easier.
But on the South Shore, the ongoing construction project to replace the deck of the Mercier bridge is taking its toll.
This weekend the access ramp to the bridge from La Prairie is closed until Sunday at 5 p.m.
And on Sunday thousands of cyclist took over the streets of Montreal for the Tour de L'Ile.
That means roads around Montreal will be closed to motor vehicle traffic as bicycles roll by. Click here for the full list of closures and a map of the Tour.
