Habs sign Cole Caufield to 8-year, $62.8 million extension

The Montreal Canadiens announced Monday that the Habs agreed on terms to an 8-year contract extension with forward Cole Caufield that will pay him an average annual salary of $7.85 million.

Remparts claim first Memorial Cup title in 17 years with 5-0 win over Thunderbirds

William Rousseau had the tournament's first shutout with 32 saves and the Quebec Remparts defeated the Seattle Thunderbirds 5-0 to claim the Memorial Cup title. Quebec also defeated Seattle 3-1 in the round-robin stage on Monday.

Montreal Canadiens re-sign winger Michael Pezzetta to two-year contract extension

The Montreal Canadiens have signed winger Michael Pezzetta to a two-year, $1.625-million contract extension, the club announced Friday. The Toronto native had seven goals and 15 points in 63 games with the team in 2022-23 -- his first full NHL season.
