Montreal police have tracked down a black dodge caravan they say might have been the getaway vehicle in a high-profile double murder in Old Montreal.
In mid-March, there was gangland-style shooting at the Flawnego clothing store on St. Jacques St. W., in which two people were killed and two others wounded.
Police believe the intended target was Joseph Ducarme, the owner of the upscale boutique. Ducarme has a lengthy criminal record and is a former street gang leader.
Ducarme was not injured in the shooting, but was arrested a day later for breaking bail conditions stemming from a previous assault charge.
Police are still looking for suspects in connection with the shootings.
