Laval’s Moroccan Festival was disrupted by a fight between groups of teenagers on Saturday night.
Roughly 50 police officers were called to the scene near the former site of Cavalia near Highway 15. The fight involved hundreds of teens, some of whom attacked police by throwing projectiles.
Police were able to regain control of the situation and evacuated the site.
Several minor injuries were reported, including a police officer who was hit in the head. One 15-year-old was arrested for throwing rocks at police.
