Four Canadian citizens have been detained in the Dominican Republic in connection with the death of a Barrie man.
The attack happened on Thursday at the Punta Cana Grand Paradise Bavaro resort.
Guests at the resort say 19-year-old Jordan Morrison was killed during a nightclub fight that broke out after he came to the aid of a woman who was being bothered by several men.
Foreign Affairs confirm Canadians are being held by police but cannot comment on whether any charges have been laid.
