Montreal firefighters hung banners from their stations on Thursday morning to show their anger over pension changes.
The banners denounce the city for suspending 35 firefighters involved in a raucous protest at City Hall in August.
Hundreds of firefighters and their supporters ransacked City Hall during a council meeting to denounce alterations to pension plans that are being demanded by the provincial government.
The protesters hurled water glasses and chased councillors out of the room, all under the watchful eye of police officers.
Since the provincial government announced Bill 3 and its changes to pension plans, municipal employees across Quebec have plastered stickers on their work vehicles and worn silly-looking pants as a way to gather support.
