MONTREAL - Fire destroyed a Greek restaurant in the Plateau overnight.
50 firefighters were called to the three-storey building that houses Le Gourmet Grec Restaurant at Hotel de Ville and Prince Arthur when the fire began around 2 a.m. Friday morning.
The fire was a block away from the site of a fire last weekend that sent a resident and a firefighter to hospital with burns.
Meanwhile on Tuesday, another fire damaged a pizzeria on Jarry East, near St. Hubert, without causing any injuries.
The arson squad is investigating the cause of the fire.
