Montreal - Montreal's arson squad is investigating a suspicious fire that broke out early Wednesday morning in a condo project under construction.
The fire started at 1:30 a.m. in the building on Rouen near St. Clement in Montreal's Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve borough.
Firefighters were able to contain the flames and damage to the three-storey building and residents of neighbouring buildings were not affected.
The fire is considered suspicious especially since electrical lines and heating systems had yet to be installed.
