A 23-year-old motorcyclist has died following a late night accident in Montreal's Park-Extension neighbourhood.

The man was heading northbound on L'Acadie Blvd. at around 11 p.m. on Nov. 7, when he lost control. He slid on the ground for a couple of metres and eventually hit a parked vehicle near Ball Ave.

The impact was so intense that the driver was ejected from his bike. He was rushed to the hospital, where we was pronounced dead shortly after arriving, due to his injuries.

Speed was likely a factor.
