One of two men accused of managing a drug smuggling ring is expected to appear in a Montreal courtroom on Friday.
Dejean Victor of Toronto and Merlande Dont of Montreal face charges of importing cocaine, and Dont is due in court.
Police say Victor and Dont strapped drugs to their bodies in order to get through customs, and led a ring of drug mules to do the same.
The smugglers wore body packs full of drugs, and between 2009 and 2011 police seized 4 kg of cocaine from three people at Trudeau airport.
The RCMP, Montreal police, and police in Haiti all took part in the investigation.
